The more data you expose it to, the better it can answer user queries. The educational chatbot is better suited for informative websites like blogs, research and academic sites, etc. Whereas, for online stores and business sites, the lead generation chatbot is the right fit!

2) Customize Chat Widget Settings

An important element while designing your chatbot is ensuring that it stays on brand! A website with a pastel green color palette won’t look appealing with a bright orange chatbot icon, right? Vengo AI solves this issue by offering customization settings for your chat widget.

Now, once you are done creating your chatbot, you need to place it on your website so it can interact and engage with your audiences. You’ll find the chatbot code under the Integrations tab. Simply visit your WordPress dashboard and install the “Header Footer Code Manager plugin.”

Finally, paste your script into it and reload your website. The chatbot will pop up by itself in the bottom right corner. It is compatible with WordPress, Wix, custom HTML, and all other popular platforms. 

4) Add Suggestions in Responses

The Chat History tab allows you to read, analyze, and download the conversations your chatbot had with various visitors. If you are not satisfied with a particular response given by the bot, you can add comments from the “Suggest changes” icon.

When the bot is inquired about a similar query, it will include your suggestion. This is a great way to keep improving your bot to respond with more accuracy. I tested it multiple times, but most of the times, it didn’t include my suggested comment.

Apparently, it doesn’t focus on the links or data you provide as comments. You need to insert links into the chatbot’s generation database. It’ll then be able to read your URLs and recommend it to the visitors as well. 

I would’ve loved it if Vengo AI could manually scrape your website on a certain frequency and auto-update itself on all the new data. 

5) Check Analytics Reports

Another interesting feature of Vengo AI is its analytics reports. You can check the performance metrics of each chatbot you’ve created. 

It displays the total number of clients it interacted with, the number of sales leads generated, total chat messages, and average chat time. You can also check out the insightful graphs for client growth and sales lead growth. 

6) View Sales Leads

Any action a user takes on being invoked by the chatbot is registered as a lead in Vengo AI. It maintains a list of the lead’s name, email, and phone number, along with the action they took and its status. 

You can download it as a CSV file as well. This will give you an insight into which leads you should contact. 

7) Add Team Members

If you want to work with multiple team members, Vengo has provisions for that as well. It allows you to onboard any team member by entering their name, password, and email, and ticking the pages you want to provide access to. They will be sent a mail to accept your invitation. 

However, it would’ve been great if they had added options to select chatbots you wish to share with specific team members. This would’ve been beneficial for agencies managing multiple clients and their chatbots.

Because Vengo AI is a new product, they follow a roadmap for their product development. They have planned several interesting features like Dark Mode, Webhooks and CRM Integration, WhatsApp integration, scheduled scraping, Custom AI Agent Personalities, etc.

How to Create an AI Chatbot?

Step 1: Enter Business Information

First, we will start by adding the chatbot name, website name, company name, email, phone, calendar link, and agent type. Under agent type, you can specify if you need an Information & Education chatbot or a Sales & Lead Generation chatbot.

Step 2: Add a Photo and Choose Voice

Next, you need to upload a photo to represent your chatbot. Additionally, you can also choose an AI voice for your bot. It offers a variety of voices in 8 different languages. 

Step 3: Insert Business Links

Next, under the Websites tab, you need to mention your business links, For example, links to your blog, podcast, webinar, FAQ page, sales meeting, etc. If you wish to add any extra information, you can add it as a custom URL or upload it under additional resources.

The process of generating your sales agent involves multiple steps. But overall, it’s quite easy. Once the bot is created, it functions very well. The responses it produces are natural and quite human-like when narrated. 

2) Apt Responses 

The AI chatbots offer logical and appropriate answers to all your questions. The quality of responses depends on the database you expose it to. 

3) Text to Voice Feature

If you switch on the voice option, all the messages sent by the bot are read out aloud in your chosen voice. It also supports voice messages from customers. However, it failed to work in my case.

4) Bot Correction Possible

While reading out your bot’s chat history, you can also add suggestions for improving its responses. The next time when a similar question is posed, the bot will include your suggestion in its reply.

2) Suggestions Not Added in Bot Responses

I tried to add suggestions to my bot’s responses. But it didn’t include my suggestion even after multiple tries. 

3) Voice Chat for Visitors Doesn’t Work

Even though it shows the voice icon for the visitors to speak, it doesn’t register the spoken voice. They need to work on improving this feature. 

4) Limited Widget Customization Settings

The chat widget customization only allows you to customize the colors. It lacks the ability to modify the font style, font type, alignment, chat widget icon, etc. 

5) Missing Features

Vengo AI should introduce automatic scraping of website data, so the bot stays updated with the latest stuff in your business. Additionally, under the team features, it should allow you to provide access to specific bots to a team member. This would be helpful for agencies.
