Date and Venue

WordCamp Europe is organized from the 13th to the 15th of June in Torino, Italy. The venue for the conference is the prestigious Lingotto Conference and Exhibition Centre.

Schedule

Contributor Day

WordCamp Europe will commence with the Contributor Day on 13th June. This event is all about contributing to the WordPress open-source project. You can participate in developing and improving WordPress by performing technical and non-technical tasks. 

Technical tasks include testing and reporting bugs, designing a theme or plugin, contributing to WordPress code, etc. Whereas, non-technical tasks include writing or improving WordPress documentation, taking part in WordPress support forums, taking pictures for Openverse, etc. 

Day 1 Schedule

Day 1 (June 14th) will begin with registration and opening remarks. You can attend a range of insightful sessions around WordPress themes, WordPress development, SEO, WooCommerce, Design, Accessibility, and Business. It will also feature workshops along with the WordCamp Connect event. 

Day 2 Schedule

Day 2 (June 15th) will primarily feature sessions around accessibility, sustainability, AI, Security, Content, Design, and Development. It will also feature engaging workshops. The conference will end with a refreshing afterparty, serving as a great opportunity for building connections.

How to Take Part in WordCamp Europe?

There are two types of tickets for WordCamp Europe – General Ticket and Micro-sponsor ticket. 

WordCamp Europe 2024 - Tickets

The General ticket is priced at an affordable €50, which is far less compared to the real price of the event. The Micro-sponsor ticket is priced at €150, which is close to the real cost of attending the event. If you want to contribute to the WordPress community, consider purchasing this ticket. 

Most people attending conferences are usually concerned about ticket cancellations and refunds, But unlike Affiliate World Conferences, WordCamp tickets are refundable. Thus, you can get full refund on canceling your WordCamp ticket before a certain period of time.

Past WordCamp Events

Since its inception, over 1200+ WordCamps have been organized across 65 countries and 396 cities. The last WordCamp was held in Spain this month. Talking about India, the recent WordCamps were organized in Kozhikode and Pune
