ChemiCloud is an American cloud-hosting company established in 2016. It has its headquarters in Middletown, USA, and is serving 150k+ customers around the globe.

On ChemiCloud, you will find a variety of hosting options, including Shared Hosting, Managed WordPress hosting, VPS Hosting, and Reseller Hosting. They are focused on providing transparency and ease of use to their customers.

ChemiCloud User Interface 

The interface of ChemiCloud looks quite friendly for beginners. It has undergone significant improvement since last year and looks much cleaner with a responsive design.  

The left panel displays quick links to important functions like services, billing, add-ons, domains, affiliates, etc. On the header bar, you will find a quick tour for beginners and an option for website migration. 

The main screen features the dashboard, where you can look at your active services, domains, tickets, unpaid invoices, etc. Alongside your active services, you get quick links for cPanel, Webmail, App Installer, Server Information, etc. 

ChemiCloud uses cPanel, which is an easy-to-use and intuitive control panel. Overall, the interface of ChemiCloud is quite user-friendly and has a modern design with pleasing colors. 

Testing Parameters 

For testing ChemiCloud hosting, I have purchased the WordPress Pro Hosting plan with Indian (Mumbai) data centers.

Along with this, I have used the following configurations:

• OceanWP Theme (Elementor-based)
• Gym Template (Elementor Based)
• LiteSpeed Cache plugin (at default settings)

ChemiCloud Speed Test

ChemiCloud performs well in speed tests across multiple locations. Its NVMe storage and Cloudflare CDN support on all plans enable faster loading speeds. Let’s look into the details. 

First, I tested my website speeds from India and noticed page load speeds of merely 1.17 seconds. This was quite impressive.

Whereas, when I tested my website speeds from the US location, I observed a slower load time of 3.70 seconds. I was expecting US speeds to be quicker than this. 

Overall, the speeds of ChemiCloud were great on Indian servers. Considering that the cache plugin was working on default settings, the results on Indian servers were remarkable! However, the performance on US servers was quite slow.

ChemiCloud Uptime 

ChemiCloud exhibits strong and reliable uptime across different servers. Talking about my website, I have been monitoring its uptime for the last 365 days using the Better Uptime tool. It checks my site’s uptime every 30 seconds.

ChemiCloud Uptime Status Report

Here’s the uptime status report for the ChemiCloud Shared Hosting Pro plan (Indian servers) for the last 365 days.

The uptime of my website in the past 30 days has been 99.87%, which is excellent. Whereas the uptime in the last 365 days has been 99.95%.

Note: I have an active plan of ChemiCloud WordPress Pro Hosting. Every month, the uptime will be updated.

ChemiCloud claims to offer a 99.99% uptime guarantee to its users. In case they cannot fulfill their claims, they offer the following credits to your account. 

These refunds are credited to the users’ accounts and can later be used for renewals or purchasing add-ons on ChemiCloud.

I think this is a very transparent and reliable move by ChemiCloud hosting. However, if your website has lots of traffic and you cannot afford any downtime, check out Rocket.net, Cloudways, or StableHost.

ChemiCloud Load Handling

ChemiCloud performs surprisingly well in the load handling test. For this test, I sent 50 virtual users to my website. They made a total of 10.9k requests, and none of them failed!

The P95 response time stood at 12 ms, which is exceptionally low! Along with that, the peak requests went up to 49.33 req/sec. You might observe a few spikes in the response time. But that’s only because I did not fine-tune the cache plugin at all.

Overall, Chemicloud performed extremely well in the Load Test as well. If your priority is better load handling, you can also go with Cloudways, Rocket.net, and FastComet hosting.

ChemiCloud Cache 

Because it makes use of LiteSpeed servers on all hosting plans, you can use the LiteSpeed cache plugin to improve your website’s performance. It can easily be configured from the cPanel. You also get Redis and OPcache pre-configured for server-level caching as well.

ChemiCloud Data Centers

Now, ChemiCloud has its data centers spread around the globe in 16 locations! However, when you visit the payment page, you only get the following 9 data center options for your web hosting service. 

ChemiCloud Domains

ChemiCloud is one of the few hosting companies that offer a free domain exclusively to its new customers. So, if you purchase a subscription to ChemiCloud hosting for 3 years, a free domain for 1 year is included as a complimentary service.

New Domains

ChemiCloud is also a domain name registrar, so you can get the domain name of your choice registered with them in minutes. You can make use of Domain Name Generators to find the perfect name for your blog or your brand!

They do not hike the domain rates, so you can always renew the domain at the same rate you purchased it for. The following are the purchase and renewal prices for some popular domain extensions.

Domain Transfer

You can transfer your domain from your previous domain registrar to ChemiCloud with ease. The domain transfer can be claimed within 30 days of purchasing a hosting plan.

Temporary Domain

ChemiCloud lets you preview your website without connecting a custom domain using its temporary domain feature. It is available under Domains within cPanel, and is called the ‘Website Preview’ feature. 

It lists all your domains, and as you click on ‘Preview’, a temporary URL is generated. The URL remains accessible for 30 days from its creation. 

ChemiCloud Security

ChemiCloud employs a range of features to keep your website secure.

• SSL Certificate: You get free Let’s Encrypt SSL Certificates with all the hosting plans.
• 2FA: Two-factor authentication is available through 2FA apps like Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.
• IP Blocker: It blocks certain IP addresses from accessing your website.
• SSH Access: Using this feature, users can remotely access their server and even transfer files over the Internet. 
• Malware Scanner: It scans for malware on your website and fixes all kinds of online threats. It is available for free on the Turbo Shared hosting plan.
• Imunify360 Proactive Defense: It works as an advanced firewall and actively scans and stops viruses, brute force attacks, malware, DDoS attacks, etc. However, it is not available on the Starter plan.
• ModSecurity: It is an open-source WAF that protects your website from malicious traffic. 
• Advanced Firewall Rules: These are customizable settings for the web application firewall to block any emerging threats.
• 24/7 Monitoring: The ChemiCloud team is always monitoring your server and your network to provide maximum protection against online threats and attacks.
• Account Isolation: On ChemiCloud shared hosting, even though the websites are hosted on the same server, they keep the accounts isolated from each other. Thus, if one website is infected, it won’t affect the other sites on that server.
• BoxTrapper: It requests verification from all emails not on your whitelist and hence protects you from spam emails.

ChemiCloud Backups 

You get automatic free daily backups on all ChemiCloud plans. These are off-server backups, meaning that the backed-up data is stored in a different location to keep it secure in case of any accidents. 

For shared hosting, backups are stored for:

• Starter Plan: 10 days
• Pro Plan: 20 days
• Turbo Plan: 30 days

Backups on ChemiCloud are managed by the JetBackup5 tool. You can also create manual backups at any time. You also get 1-click restoration, where you can decide exactly what you wish to restore.

I personally liked the backup and restoration options. They are very easy to use for beginners as well. You can also check out Rocket.net for quick 1-click manual backups and restorations!

ChemiCloud Support 

ChemiCloud offers customer service through email, ticket system, live chat, and phone. They also have an excellent knowledge base of articles for solving user queries. 

In my personal experience, their 24/7/365 live chat support was super fast, and their replies were knowledgeable as well as polite. ChemiCloud’s support team holds a really good technical expertise.

In my experience, the customer support of ChemiCloud was the best one I’ve seen on a web host so far. It was even better than popular web hosts like Hosting.com and FastComet.

ChemiCloud Inode Count 

Inode count refers to the total number of files on your hosting account. ChemiCloud provides the following on its shared hosting plans. 

• Starter plan: 250k inodes
• Pro plan: 350k inodes
• Turbo plan: 500k inodes

As I am using their Pro Shared Hosting plan, I get 350k inodes on my account. If you want to increase your inode limit, you can check out Cloudways and Rocket.net.

ChemiCloud Pricing

Following is a brief comparison of the features and pricing of ChemiCloud’s shared hosting plans.

The shared hosting plans of ChemiCloud are slightly expensive. But they are totally worth it for the attractive features offered. Even the Starter plan includes daily backups, unlimited email accounts, unlimited bandwidth, free SSL, free CDN, lots of migrations, & NVMe SSD storage. 

However, you can avail of the best discounts only when you purchase any of these plans for a duration of 3 years straight!

Best Plan

In my opinion, the best plan of ChemiCloud is the Pro Shared Hosting plan for 3 years. It would cost you $125.54 (or ₹10,678) for 3 years with my link. This amounts to ₹3559/year. You will also get a free domain name with your purchase. 

If your website garners a lot of traffic, the Turbo plan ($4.49/month) would be a good choice for you as well.

Payment Methods

They accept payments through International Debit and Credit cards, along with PayPal. I really hope they introduce Indian payment options like UPI in the future! As of now, you can go with Hostinger or Bluehost if you want Indian payment options.

Refund Policy

Unlike other web hosts, ChemiCloud boasts a 45-day refund policy. This is great if you wish to test out the service before purchasing it for the long term. If you are not satisfied with your plan, you can cancel it within 45 days of purchase and get a complete refund.

ChemiCloud CDN

ChemiCloud offers the Cloudflare CDN for free with its hosting plans. Cloudflare CDN is a highly popular CDN with worldwide server locations. So, it improves your website’s loading speed and performance to a large extent. 

ChemiCloud Website Staging

Creating a staging website with ChemiCloud is extremely easy. Simply visit the Softaculous App Installer within cPanel and locate your site. Then click on the ‘Create Staging’ button and provide additional details. It will create a staging site. 

Once you are done with the testing and edits, you can click on ‘Push to Live’ and those changes will be published to your live site. Overall, the process of creating a staging site is easy. 

ChemiCloud Migrations 

ChemiCloud lets you migrate up to 200 cPanel accounts for free. And if your previous web hosting provider did not use cPanel, you can migrate 10 non-cPanel accounts completely free of cost! This is applicable to all hosting plans. 

The only condition is that you need to avail this within 60 days of purchasing the hosting. However, if the 60 days are up, the following charges will apply to website migrations:

ChemiCloud Website Builder

ChemiCloud offers the SitePad website builder, which is a drag-and-drop builder. Similar to  StableHost and HostArmada, this site builder is quite easy to use, even for beginners!

Recently, they have also introduced the AI website-building functionality within their platform. So you simply need to write your prompt, choose a template and images, and your website will be created within seconds! Check out this demo photography website I created.

While the overall uptime is still very good at 99.95% over the last year, it has dropped slightly compared to previous years. 

3. Limited Payment Options

ChemiCloud currently accepts international debit cards, credit cards, and PayPal. I hope they introduce Indian payment methods like UPI and net banking soon.

4. Higher Renewal Pricing

Like most hosting providers, ChemiCloud offers heavy introductory discounts, but renewal prices are considerably higher. You should check the renewal cost before committing to a long-term plan.

ChemiCloud is a reliable hosting solution for 2026. It offers you an impressive combination of Litespeed servers, NVMe SSD storage, and Cloudflare CDN, which guarantees terrific performance and lightning-fast speeds! This makes it a great option for e-commerce websites.
