YouStable Hosting Review Video

If reading feels like a lot of work, here is an easy way out. You can watch my video review of YouStable. It’s in Hindi with English subtitles. Hope you’ll enjoy watching it.

Testing Parameters

For conducting different performance tests, I’ve purchased the YouStable DaProfessional plan (US Servers). Apart from that, I’ve used the following settings on my WordPress-based website.

test-website

  • US Servers
  • OceanWP Theme (Elementor-based)
  • Gym Template
  • LiteSpeed Cache Plugin (default settings)

YouStable User Interface

YouStable has completely revamped its user interface. It looks pretty neat and minimalistic. As you log in to the dashboard, the main window displays your active services and support tickets.

YouStable - user interface

From the left panel, you can access features like hosting, domains, billing, support, etc. The top right corner lets you access notifications, account settings, etc. As you click on your active service, it shows the disk and bandwidth usage.

YouStable - DirectAdmin panel

Talking about the control panel, you don’t get the standard cPanel with YouStable. It offers the DirectAdmin panel, which has features like cPanel, but lacks its ease of use and intuitive design. Overall, their UI has improved significantly and looks more beginner-friendly now.

YouStable Speeds

YouStable offers swift speeds in the US but is quite slow in Indian regions. Let’s look at the speed test results in detail. I tested the speeds of my website hosted on YouStable from the following locations: New York (US) and Bangalore (India).

YouStable Speeds - India

On testing from the Indian location, my website took a massive 4.44 seconds to load. These are below-average results, and the primary reason is my servers being US-based. Whereas when I tested from the US location, my website loaded in just 1.48 seconds.

YouStable Speeds - US

Overall, you won’t find good speeds for YouStable in India. But if you have a US-based audience, YouStable would be a great option for you!

YouStable Uptime

I’ve been monitoring the uptime of my YouStable website using the Better Uptime tool. This tool tracks my website uptime every 30 seconds.

Note: I have an active plan of the YouStable DaProfessional Shared Hosting plan. Every month, this page will be updated with the latest uptime data.

YouStable also offers an uptime guarantee of 99% on its hosting plans. If they don’t fulfill the said uptime levels, they refund the entire month’s fee back to their customers, which is quite a transparent practice.

If you need better uptime for your website, you can go with Cloudways, Rocket.net, ChemiCloud hosting, etc.

YouStable Load Test

To test the load management capacities of YouStable, I sent 50 virtual users over to my site from the US region.

YouStable load test

They made a total of 10.8k requests, with the peak requests reaching 49 req/sec. The P95 response time was 26 ms, and surprisingly, there were no request failures or major spikes in the response time.

Overall, YouStable handled the load really well, and I was highly impressed with its performance.

YouStable Data Centers

YouStable now offers 11 global data centers spread across the globe. The following table highlights the locations. It’s great to see YouStable add two Indian data centers.

IndiaMumbai, Indore
NetherlandsAmsterdam, North Holland
North America (East)New York, Tampa, Dallas, Irving, Miami
North America (West)California, San Francisco

YouStable Domains

If you are looking for domain names along with your hosting, YouStable also functions as a domain registration service. Let’s look at the important domain features offered by YouStable.

Free Domains

YouStable offers a free domain name for the first year on all the shared hosting plans. After the first year, standard domain charges would apply to your domain name.

New Domain Pricing

If you wish to purchase a new domain from YouStable, the following are the charges for the popular domain extensions.

TLDAnnual Price

.net$16.99
.org$13.99
.in$7.99
.xyz$1.99

Temporary Domain

Unfortunately, YouStable doesn’t provide a preview URL or temporary domain with shared hosting plans. With this feature, you can preview how your website appears without connecting a custom domain.

Overall, the domain features offered by YouStable are pretty good. If you’re still struggling with finding catchy domain names for your blog or business, check out these domain name generators for some fresh ideas!

YouStable Cache Plugins

Because YouStable works on LiteSpeed servers, you can use the LiteSpeed Cache Plugin on your WordPress website.

AccelerateWP - YouStable

They also offer the AccelerateWP cache plugin for WordPress websites. These plugins dramatically improve the speed and performance of your website.

YouStable CDN

YouStable doesn’t offer a built-in CDN with its hosting plans. Their support team recommends using the Cloudflare CDN for improved speed and performance.

YouStable Inode Count

Inode Count refers to the total number of files that you can store on your hosting account. The following is the inode count limit on the shared hosting plans of YouStable.

DaStart Plan300k inodes
DaProfessional Plan500k inodes
DaElite Plan800k inodes

YouStable Support

YouStable offers customer support through email, live chat, and call support. Their knowledge base is quite comprehensive. You get 500+ annotated articles covering all the major topics. You also get call support in Hindi here.

YouStable live chat support

Their live chat support was slightly slow in my experience. They were able to answer basic queries, but the initial responses took a while. Overall, their technical support quality can be improved.

YouStable Pricing

YouStable offers 3 different shared hosting plans. The following table compares their pricing and major features.

DaStartDaProfessionalDaElite

The shared hosting plans of YouStable start from ₹59/mo, where you get 1 website and 50 GB NVMe SSD storage. The maximum discount can be seen on 3-year subscriptions.

Best Plan

In my experience, the DaProfessional Shared Hosting plan is the best option for those starting their online journey. It would cost you around ₹5,055 for 3 years, which is quite affordable.

If you’re looking for hosting plans for shorter terms, the DaProfessional plan for 1-year would be a great choice too!

Payment Options

You get the following payment methods for purchasing hosting from YouStable: UPI, PayPal, PayTM, GPay, Net Banking, Credit and Debit Cards, and Bank Transfer. The UPI option is good for Indian users.

Apart from that, you can also enter your GST number if you have one. This is good if you need GST invoices for your purchases. Overall, the payment options are really beneficial for Indian users.

You get a standard 30-day refund policy with YouStable. This means that if you don’t enjoy using their hosting, you can cancel your plan within 30 days of purchase and get your entire money back.

YouStable Website Builder

YouStable doesn’t offer a website builder on its Starter shared hosting plan. However, on its DaProfessional & DaElite Hosting plans, you get the AI WordPress website builder.

If you need a website builder, you can check out platforms like Hostinger, SwipePages, Wix, Squarespace, etc.

YouStable Backups and Restoration

YouStable offers the JetBackups app for taking backups of your website data. You can access it through the DirectAdmin Panel. It provides free backups that are stored for 7 days. You can also create on-demand manual backups and restore them selectively with a single click.

YouStable Backups

However, the only drawback is that the backups are stored on the same server instead of an off-server location. Thus, in case of accidental deletions or hacks, your data may get compromised.

YouStable Apps and Software

YouStable supports a library of 240+ applications belonging to a range of categories like blogs, CMS, forums, image galleries, calendars, ad management, emails, polls, eCommerce, customer support, and more.

YouStable - Apps and software

Talking about software, YouStable offers Litespeed servers and supports various scripts, including PHP, Python, Node.js, Perl, etc.

YouStable Security

If you run a blog or an online business, it’s important to ensure the security of your hosting. YouStable offers the following security features:

YouStable Security

  • Imunify360 Protection: This is a powerful malware scanner and firewall service that offers DDoS protection and secures your servers from brute force attacks.
  • SSL: With YouStable, you get free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates for all your websites.
  • 2FA: With Two-Factor Authentication, you can add an extra level of security to your hosting account by authenticating through 2FA apps, emails, SMS, etc.
  • Security Questions: With this feature, you can enable security questions to be displayed while logging into your hosting account. You can only gain access to the hosting if your security answer is correct.
  • Hotlink Protection: This feature restricts others from directly linking to files on your website. This prevents them from stealing your bandwidth.
  • WAF: It protects your web applications by blocking malicious traffic.

YouStable Pros

1) Reliable Uptime

In the last 365 days, my website hosted on YouStable maintained an impressive 99.99% uptime. This makes it a good choice for blogs and small businesses.

2) Efficient Load Handling

YouStable can handle large amounts of load without any request failures. Overall, you can trust it to offer high performance even on high-traffic websites.

3) Fast Speeds in the US

With its data centers in the US, you get to see swift website speeds in the US region. So, if your target audience is in the US, you’ll really love this hosting.

4) Hindi Call Support

You get Hindi call support on YouStable, which means you can get your queries resolved in your own language. However, their support team doesn’t seem to be very technical as of now.

5) Indian Data Centers

YouStable offers data centers in 2 Indian locations – Indore and Mumbai. This gives Indian customers the option to host their websites closer to their audience.

6) UPI Payments & GST Invoice

You get Indian payment options like UPI Payments, PayTM, GPay, etc. This is super convenient for Indian users. If you have a GST number for your business, you can also request GST invoices from YouStable.

7) Affordable Pricing

The pricing plans of YouStable start from a pocket-friendly rate of ₹59/month! So, beginners can also try it out!

8) Improved User Interface

YouStable has undergone some major design and interface updates in the past year. Thus, you get to enjoy a more responsive and modern interface now.

9) Native NVMe SSD

You will find NVMe SSD storage on all hosting plans of YouStable, even shared hosting plans. This guarantees lightning-fast speeds and improved performance.

YouStable Cons

1) Inconsistent Customer Support

My experience with YouStable’s live chat support wasn’t always consistent. Response times varied, and the technical quality of support could be improved.

2) Slow Speeds in India

In my testing from Indian location, my website took over 4 seconds to load. Thus, you get sluggish speeds in Indian regions.

3) Only 7 Day Backups

YouStable hosting only retains generated backups for up to 7 days. This is quite limited as compared to the other web hosts.

4) Limited Free Migrations

YouStable only offers 1 free migration and a limit of 5 GB on migrations. If your website exceeds 5 GB, you’ll be charged an additional amount for migration.

YouStable Alternatives

1) YouStable vs Hostinger

Hostinger offers reliable uptime, excellent load handling, Indian data centers, and beginner-friendly tools, like YouStable. It also supports UPI payments, GST invoices, AI-powered features, and LiteSpeed servers, making it a great option for bloggers and startups.

Where Hostinger stands out is its significantly faster speeds in India, feature-rich ecosystem, and stronger security. It also offers a more polished hPanel, AI tools, better human support, and advanced security features. Its pricing plans start from $2.99/month.

2) YouStable vs FastComet

FastComet is another excellent alternative to YouStable. Like YouStable, it offers impressive uptime, strong load handling, Indian data centers, and beginner-friendly hosting suitable for blogs, business websites, and growing online projects.

But it distinguishes itself with much faster website speeds, outstanding technical support, and the familiar cPanel interface. It also includes Cloudflare CDN integration, resulting in excellent global performance, particularly for Indian users. The plans of FastComet start at $1.99/mo.

3) YouStable vs SiteCountry

SiteCountry is an Indian hosting company that offers cloud servers on all its plans. Like YouStable, it ensures fast speeds, good performance, UPI Payments, and GST invoices.

However, unlike YouStable, it also provides quick and knowledgeable support, Indian data centers, a site builder, and CDN services. It’s a good option for beginners and bloggers. The pricing plans of SiteCountry start from ₹125/month!

Why Should You Trust Me?

I’ve been working full-time in the digital industry since 2015. In these years, I’ve used and tested all popular hosting providers on my personal and client websites. Cloudways, ChemiCloud, FastComet, etc, are some examples. Detailed reviews are available on my blog and YouTube.

For this review, I have been testing the DaProfessional Shared Hosting plan for the last few years. Testing dozens of hosts in the past few years has given me the knowledge and expertise to compare them and recommend the best one for your requirements.

Conclusion

YouStable has come a long way over the past few years. It offers excellent uptime, impressive load handling, Hindi customer support, and Indian data centers. The affordable pricing is another big advantage for those just getting started.

That said, there is still room for improvement. The support quality can be inconsistent, Indian speeds could be better depending on the server location, and the 7-day backup retention feels limited compared to some competitors.

Overall, I would recommend YouStable to small business owners and beginners in India who want affordable hosting with reliable uptime and Hindi customer support. If your primary audience is in the US, it performs even better with faster page load speeds.

Anyway, I hope this YouStable Review helped you decide whether it’s the right hosting provider for your needs. You can use my link along with the coupon code ‘KRIPESH’ to get an additional 10% discount on your purchase. This is Kripesh signing off! Cheers and keep learning!
