Following were the results when I tried to generate a job application mail with it.

Overall, the results were pretty average. They didn’t elaborate very well on the inputs and the email seemed incomplete. I hope they improve this tool and also introduce a general email template in the future! I personally like Writesonic for generating refined and relevant email content.

AIDA Framework

AIDA stands for Attention Interest Desire Action. It is one of the oldest and most trusted frameworks used in copywriting. For testing this tool, I supplied it with the query ‘How to set up an online business’ and the results are mentioned below.

I was quite impressed with the outputs produced. They identified the correct emotion to be triggered under every section, which resulted in a great copy. Though a little fine-tuning is required, the AIDA Framework still produced remarkable results.

PAS Framework

What is Jasper AI Boss Mode?

The Boss Mode of Jasper AI helps you generate long-form blog posts within minutes. It provides two options for generating long-form content.

Freeform

With the free-form content generation, you can type in any query and get relevant results. For instance, following was the result when I supplied it a query to generate a paragraph about Time Management.

I liked the crisp and engaging result produced by Jasper AI. This option also lets you use their 65+ AI templates to generate long-form text from scratch. You can use multiple templates to generate relevant content.

Workflows

Here, you can choose from their list of workflows and create long-form content in a guided manner. Some popular workflows listed are Ads, Blog Posts, Email Campaigns, Landing Pages, Press Releases, Social Media Campaigns, etc.

To demonstrate the Jasper Boss Mode, I’m going to generate a blog post using the Workflows option. The topic for the blog post would be ‘Health Risks of Coffee’.

You can keep the output length short, medium, or long, as per your preference. Along with that, you can also enter the workflow context to receive more aligned results. Now, let’s get started with the guided steps to generate our blog post.

Step 1: Generate Blog Post Intro Paragraph

Here, we will enter our blog post title, along with the target audience, and a tone of voice. It will generate relevant Blog Intros with the provided information.

Step 2: Generate Blog Post Outline

Next, we can choose the best Intro variant. With this, it will create an outline that will give a better structure and flow to our article.

Step 3: Generate Paragraph 

Here, we can add or remove steps from the outline of our article. Once we finalize the outline, it will generate paragraphs for every step of the article.

Step 4: Generate Blog Post Conclusion Paragraph

I really liked the long-form writer of Jasper AI. Though it takes a substantial amount of time to generate the article, it is pretty good if you want to fine-tune your article. You can also try out Scalenut, Copy AI, and Writesonic if you need to generate high-quality blog posts.

Apart from blog posts, the Workflows feature also supports other powerful use cases. For example, the Ads use case generates social media ad ideas, Google ad ideas, and detailed social media campaigns based on a single input provided by you.

Overall, I was highly impressed with the Workflows feature. Jasper AI is probably the only AI writer where you’ll find workflows for multiple categories alongside blog posts.

Jasper AI One-Shot Blog Post

One-Shot Blog Post, as the name suggests, is a tool for creating a complete blog post in one go! All you need to do is specify your topic, tone of voice, intended audience, and language. Following is a blog post generated on the topic ‘Types of Coffee Beans’.

Overall, the results were pretty good. But the blog post was too short, with merely 250 words. This is good if you want to generate a short-form copy. But I hope they also integrate an option to set the output length for the blog post soon!

Interestingly, when I checked this output using Originality AI (an AI detection tool), it concluded that the content was 100% human content!

Jasper AI Chat

Jasper Chat is Jasper AI’s very own conversational chatbot, just like ChatGPT. It works on the GPT-3 technology and helps you generate any kind of content you need. You need to write a query in natural language and it generates relevant responses to it.

In my experience, it worked exceptionally well and understood queries correctly. The best part about Jasper Chat was that it has memorization capacities. It remembered my previous responses and made updates to them as I requested.

Unlike ChatGPT, Jasper Chat also offers input prompt suggestions that are really helpful if you’re unsure about framing your query. Overall, it’s an impressive tool and I am curious to see how it improves in the future!

Jasper AI Recipes

If you wish to quickly create a certain type of content, you can use Jasper AI Recipes. Recipes are pre-designed workflows that comprise a list of Jasper commands for creating content.

You get 9 popular pre-designed recipes for generating cold emails, blog posts, ideas, Facebook Ads, Video Scripts, Book Intros, and more. However, you can also create your own AI recipes.

All you need to do is replace the sample text with your own brand/topic and run the query in the commands box. You can run all the Jasper commands step-by-step to generate the entire recipe of your preferred use case.

Though this tool has a slight learning curve for newbies, I enjoyed generating blog posts and cold emails with it.

Jasper AI Chrome Extension

The Chrome extension of Jasper AI is pretty responsive and works smoothly. It can generate content based on your prompts across all websites and platforms.

To test its capabilities, I asked it to write a comment on my blog with the input prompt “Write me a comment to appreciate an article on Best Free AI Writers by Kripesh Adwani.”

Now, let’s take a look at the outputs generated.

The comment that it generated seemed highly comprehensive in nature. I was happily surprised by the power of their Chrome extension. It can be used for a variety of use cases like comments, social posts, emails, captions, and more.

I also liked using the Writesonic Chrome extension called as ChatSonic. It is a pretty handy tool for generating emails, social media posts, and images, and researching the latest data on the web.

Jasper AI Content Analysis

Grammar Check

To test the grammatical accuracy of Jasper AI, I checked the long-form content generated by it through the Grammarly Grammar Checker.

The document scored 75 points with 13 grammatical suggestions! This is disappointing for such an expensive AI writing tool. This is the lowest grammar score I’ve observed for any AI writer yet.

Plagiarism Check

For testing the originality of the content, I supplied the long-form content generated by Jasper AI to the Quetext Plagiarism Checker. Let’s look at the results.

I observed a 7% plagiarism in the text. However, on close analysis, I found that the sources only partially matched the content. Thus, the copy generated by Jasper AI is primarily free from plagiarism.

AI Content Check

To evaluate the AI content, I also checked the same long-form content generated by Jasper AI with Originality AI, a popular AI content detection tool.

It revealed that the content was 79% original and 21% written by AI. Whereas, the entire content was AI generated! It also couldn’t detect any plagiarism in the content. If you need an AI writer that goes undetected by AI content detectors, you can look at Copy AI.

Jasper AI offers a plagiarism-checking tool powered by Copyscape. It is available as a paid add-on for $0.03 for the first 100 words and $0.01 for every 100 words after that. 

However, you need to purchase a minimum of $10 plagiarism check credits to use this feature.

Besides these tools, Jasper AI also integrates Grammarly for free into its documents to help users with grammar, style, spelling, sentence structures, etc.

On checking the long-form content generated by Jasper AI, I found a lot of grammatical and punctuation mistakes in the text. I hope they work on this in their future updates.

Is Jasper AI Worth It?

After testing Jasper AI, my opinion on this AI writer has completely taken a turn! In my experience, I found Jasper AI to be the most polished AI writing tool compared to all the other AI writers I’ve tested so far.

It has refined outputs, a powerful Boss Mode, Jasper Chat, and one of the best Chrome extensions. Along with that, you can also see frequent updates and new feature implementations on this platform.

In my opinion, this entire package is worth the expensive pricing of Jasper AI. However, this tool is not suited for everyone. If you need a powerful AI writer with all the premium features, and can recover the extra premium by using this tool, then Jasper AI would be a value-for-money purchase.

For testing Jasper AI, I finalized a variety of input prompts for every content category. These prompts were a mixture of general and technical topics. Then, I supplied these prompts to the Jasper AI templates and noted the results.
