Screpy Features

Now, let’s take a look at the important SEO features offered by Screpy and how you can use them for your projects.

Overview – Check Features Overview

The Overview tab, as the name suggests, gives you an overview of all the parameters analyzed by Screpy under a single space.

Screpy Overview

It basically audits your website and displays your site health score, SERP keywords, crawled pages, links, images, issues, keyword rankings, uptime, etc. These factors are displayed as colorful and easy-to-read graphs and charts.

Issues – Analyze Website Issues

The Issues tab analyzes all the pages on your website and groups them according to the issues found within them. For instance, you can get a list of pages with the following issues on Screpy.

Screpy Issues
  • Internal Page Issues: This includes pages with 500 errors, 404 errors, and similar 4XX and 5XX page errors.
  • Indexability Issues: This includes Noindex pages, Nofollow pages, Canonical points to 4XX and 5XX pages, etc.
  • Link Issues: This shows a list of pages with no outgoing links, pages with links to broken pages, pages with nofollow outgoing internal links, etc.
  • Redirect Issues: This includes a list of pages with 302 redirects, 3XX redirects, broken redirects, pages with redirect loops, etc.
  • Content Issues: This displays pages with a low content ratio, multiple or duplicate H1 tags, missing titles, low word count, short/long titles, short/long/missing meta descriptions, etc.
Screpy Content Issues

  • Image Issues: This fetches a list of your website pages with image redirects, missing alt text, broken images, large image files, etc.
  • Other Issues: This section displays pages with console errors, syntax errors, pages with no XML sitemaps, no Robots.txt file, etc.
  • Social Issues: This displays pages with incomplete Twitter cards and Open graph tags, etc.
  • Performance Issues: This section shows a list of pages with core web vital issues and low desktop page speed scores.

Crawler – Rectify Page Issues

The Crawler tab analyses all the pages on your website and groups different pages by the issues found within them.

Screpy Crawler

For instance, it lists pages with syntax issues, broken pages, slow pages (along with their response time), etc. Thus, Crawler can be important when you want to perform technical SEO on your website.

Content – Fix Website Content Issues

The Content tab scans your website pages and groups them with content issues like long titles, duplicate titles, short descriptions, missing descriptions, etc. Let’s look at the different content parameters it analyses.

Keywords

Screpy Keywords

This section analyses the keywords your website is ranking for. It displays a list of 1-word, 2-word, and 3-word keywords from your website along with their usage.

Titles

Screpy Titles

Screpy displays a list of short, long, duplicated, and missing titles on your blog posts and pages. Along with that, it also mentions their title length and HTTP status.

Descriptions

Screpy Descriptions

Here, you get a list of long, short, duplicated, and missing descriptions in your blog posts, along with their HTTP status, description, and description length.

Headings

Screpy Headings

Here, you will find a list of missing or duplicated H1 heading tags along with their page URL and HTTP status.

Low Content Ratio

This is one of my favorite features of Screpy. Content Ratio is decided by the ratio of images to the content found on the page. If the quantity of content on a page is low compared to the number of images used, it is considered a low content ratio.

Screpy Low Content Ratio

This section shows a list of all the posts and pages with a low content ratio. You can simply fix it by adding a little more content under the listed pages.

Low Word Count

Screpy Low Word Count

This section shows a list of pages with low word count along with their word count and HTTP status. Thus, you can add more content to these pages and optimize them better.

SERP – Monitor Keyword Ranking

On the top right corner of the dashboard, you’ll find the Add Keyword option. Simply enter your keywords, target location, and specify if you wish to track for a desktop or mobile device. It’ll start monitoring your added keywords.

Screpy SERP Tracking

The SERP tab features the rank tracker that monitors your keywords and keeps track of their current SERP positions. You can also note if their rankings are rising or falling. Finally, it also shows a list of the top 10, 50, and 100 keywords along with their current positions.

However, keyword tracking is only performed once a week. I hope they add the option to customize the frequency of keyword tracking.

Screpy SERP Analysis Settings

By default, the SERP Rank Tracking is performed every week. It lets you select a frequency of rank tracking from 10, 15, or 30 days from the Settings tab. Additionally, you can also select all keywords of your choice and click on Analyse All to manually analyze your keywords.

For analyzing your SERP Rankings every day or every 3 days, you need to upgrade to their advanced plan. Alternatively, if you want a tool specifically for rank tracking, you can check out Serpple. As of now, it’s available on a lifetime deal on AppSumo as well!

Pagespeed – Track Website Speed Score

In order to analyze the page speed score, you simply need to enter the URL of your web page, enable monitoring, select a period of monitoring, and click on Analyze. It will automatically keep tracking the SEO performance, best practices, SEO, and accessibility of your URL.

Screpy Pagespeed Score

If you check the Core Web Vitals, it’ll give you in-depth insights on the First Contentful Paint (FCP), Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), Total Blocking Time (TBT), and more.

The Links tab segregates the different links on your website.

Screpy Link Analysis

You can get lists of your posts with broken links, internal links, external links, Dofollow and Nofollow links, Anchor links, etc. Fixing them would be highly beneficial from the SEO point of view.

Images – Optimize Images for SEO

The Images section analyses your website and displays a list of images with missing alt tags, missing titles, broken images, big images, slow images, etc.

Screpy Images

This is helpful for quickly fixing your images and making them SEO-friendly.

Uptime – Monitor Website Uptime

This section shows the uptime report for your domain. It monitors the uptime every 5 minutes and displays the average uptime percentage along with the average response time of your website.

Screpy Uptime

You can also enable uptime notifications under Settings to receive alerts when your website goes down.

Screpy Pros

Good User Interface

The interface of Screpy is clean, modern, and quite organized. It is easy to navigate and looks friendly for a beginner to operate.

Affordable Pricing

At the moment, Screpy is available as a lifetime deal on AppSumo for just $49. This is quite an affordable and value-for-money option as it offers lots of features with high usage limits.

Impressive Keyword Tracking

The SERP Keyword Tracker lets you add keywords of your choice and monitors them every week. It also shows a list of your rising and falling keywords along with the top 10, 50, and 100 keywords on your website.

In-depth Website Audit Reports

You can get a complete list of your website issues and improvements required from the Overview tab. It scans your entire site and offers an analysis of your site health, SERP keyword rankings, links, images, page speed score, uptime, page and content issues, etc.

Powerful Uptime Monitoring

With Screpy, you can get detailed uptime reports for your website. It monitors your site’s uptime every 5 minutes and displays the average uptime and response time in easy-to-understand graphs.

Screpy Cons

Weekly Keyword Tracking

The keyword tracking in Screpy is limited to once every week. I wish they had the option to customize the frequency of keyword tracking.

Screpy Alternatives

UberSuggest

Ubersuggest is a powerful SEO tool founded by Neil Patel and Mike Kamo. It is used by over 50k+ users today! This tool helps you perform keyword research, audit your websites, analyze your competitors, and more.

Testing Parameters

I purchased the lifetime deal of Screpy from AppSumo. Then, I tested it with multiple websites and thoroughly used all of its features.

These include tools like the content crawler, page issues, page analysis, page speed score tracking, uptime analysis, link analysis, etc. After testing it out for over 2 months, and comparing its features with other SEO tools, I finally wrote this review.

Why Should You Trust Me?

I have been working full-time in the digital industry since 2015. In the past years, I have created dozens of WordPress websites for my business and for clients.

SEO has been a major part of my work, and I have worked with plenty of SEO plugins and standalone SEO tools, like Frase, Marketmuse, NeuronWriter, WriterZen, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, and more.

Using a range of SEO tools over the last few years has given me the knowledge, experience, and expertise to compare different tools and suggest you the best one for your requirements.

Conclusion

Overall, Screpy is an interesting AI-based SEO tool for rank tracking, keyword tracking, uptime monitoring, and page speed monitoring. I liked its SERP Rank Tracking and Low Content Ratio features.

Tools like Site Audit Report are also available on the free versions of Ahrefs. If you need an affordable tool for tracking keywords, ranks, uptime monitoring, and checking page speed scores, Screpy would be a value-for-money deal. The lifetime deal offers sufficient limits as well.

If you don’t have any other SEO tool, you can check out Screpy. Alternatively, if you need a tool specifically for the rank checker tool, Serpple would be a suitable option as well.
