If you wish to take part in WordCamp Bhopal, you can purchase your ticket from the Tickets page on their official website. Two types of tickets are available. You can purchase the General Ticket for ₹600 and the Micro Sponsor Ticket for ₹3,999.
You can view the number of remaining tickets and the option to select the quantity of tickets you wish to purchase. Payments can be made through the following payment gateways: Stripe (credit cards) and Instamojo.
Though there’s no specific difference between them, the Micro Sponsor ticket is for those users who can afford it and wish to contribute to the WordPress community.
The biggest struggle for most users was the unavailability of refunds. However, you can now mail the WordCamp team and get a refund if you can’t attend the event. You can also transfer it to someone else who wants to attend the event.
Past WordCamp Events
Till date, over 1100 successful WordCamps have been organized in 65 countries. The last WordCamp was held in Jinja, Uganda (4-5 Sep) and Denmark (26-27 Aug). Talking about Asia, the recent WordCamps were held in Bengaluru (29 Jul), Kerala (25 Mar), and Bangkok (17-19 Feb).
I took part in WordCamp Kerala and WordCamp Bangkok this year. In both these events, I interacted and interviewed lots of WordPress professionals, entrepreneurs, and experts and learned tonnes of lessons. I also had fun taking part in activities and talking to new people.
